The Mended Era is any time after the four mini-planets are brought back together into one Earth. Remnants of the planets remain, as regions of the world are still called Winter, Summer, Spring, and Autumn. The production and progress of technology has been interrupted, but there are relics of old tech. Despite the internet, a lot of Pre-Rift history has been lost or confused with TV shows, movies, etc.
Different areas (seasons) of the world are more medieval, whereas some places could be confused for modern day, at a glance.
