Okay, took a few days to work out some character profiles and now let's get back to the outline. I want to work on the Character List, which is just the basic shit we need to know about each character.
The character list should have name and nicknames or aliases, of course. Then, importance in the story (main character, secondary, tertiary), role in the MC's life (friend, enemy, parent, etc), who the character is related to. Like, we may never meet Thai's sister but it's important to know that she has one, and if she ever IS mentioned in a story, have her name handy in case we need it again. Also, if two characters in the story are related, we'll need that too. I'm going to leave physical descriptions and character traits for the character profiles. I don't think that's generally stuff we need at a glance.
Kim surprised Nakia with a full staff for "Sunny", thinking that Nakia would appreciate being pampered, but this only puts Kim even higher on Nakia's shit list because Nakia a) does not like being in proximity to humans, especially at home, and b) she doesn't need to eat or sleep and now there is live-in staff she has to seem human in front of. All that to say, that means a LOT of characters.
